Lauren Kueper, mezzo-soprano, is a professional musician and private music teacher in the Fargo-Moorhead area. She recently earned her master’s in music from North Dakota State University. Lauren has soloed with the Augustana chorus and orchestra as well as the NDSU chorus and orchestra. Opera roles she has performed include Carmen in Carmen, La Zia Principessa in Suor Angelica, Third Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, Jupiter in Michael Polo’s Pluto, and Bradamante in Handel’s Alcina. She has performed with the Fargo Moorhead Opera Chorus in La Bohème and will be in their upcoming production of Turandot. She also has sung with the chamber ensemble Transept as a part of their larger chorus in Sioux Falls, SD. She is also the music director at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Moorhead, MN. Lauren currently studies with Dr. Mariane Lemieux-Wottrich.
